Set 1: Big Railroad Blues, Playon' In The Band, Mr. Charlie, Sugaree, El Paso, Next Time You See Me, Bertha, Bobby McGee, Cumberland Blues
Set 2: Big Boss Man, Loser, Bird Song, Cryptical Envelopment > Drums > The Other One > Me & My Uncle > The Other One > Cryptical Envelopment > Wharf Rat, Deal, Brokedown Palace, Empty Pages
--most of the cuts are a result of stopping the reel to save time/batteries, and are therefore very minor in most cases
--dropout @ 1:55 in Bobby McGee
--tape warble @ 6:05 in The Other One(1)
--tape damage(?) @ 6:39-6:50 in 2nd Other One
--tape warble @ 0:08 in 2nd Cryptical
--Sound Forge was used for normalization, correction of the pitch, crossfades, and smoothing over troubled areas.
This is a decent mono audience recording of seeming moderate distance from the source of music. The microphone is often bumped or moved, causing some noise. The crowd is relatively quiet.
This show is usually listed on tapes and in Deadbase as 8/24/71. But, according to Dwight Holmes the circulating aud tapes for this show were made by Stephen Wade, who says that he only taped the first show (8/23) and not the second (8/24). Additional evidence from Jeff Tiedrich also indicates that this is 8/23 and not 8/24.

Something's not right here
A truly awful recording (minus two stars) of a very good show (four stars).
The entire disc 2 of RT 1:3 consists of Aug. 23, so I would normally say just get it instead -- and you should regardless. However, it only lines up with this recording starting from the first Cryptical through Wharf Rat. RT 1:3 has China Cat > IKYR, Truckin', and Sugaree preceding that, and Sugar Mag after. The Sugarees seem to be the same, though, so I can only guess the rest of what's on RT 1:3 is simply left out here. Similarly, it would seem a fair amount of what's here was left off of RT 1:3 given that it's only a single disc. In any event, this is not DP 35, as some folks indicate below -- that's Aug. 24. This must have been mislabeled as much some time in the past.

I went to the other night's show with my brother and we sat in an opera box on the left side, great seats. The night we went they played Casey Jones and that song isn't on this set list. I guess there's no recording of the other show. Check out CU Folsom Field 09-03-72 which is a good soundboard recording from #10 through #31. I was at that one too.

the poor sound quality almost ruins it but this set list alone makes it worth the attempt. i wasn't too bothered by the cheap recording but I can see why others may be.

confusing to me, the music does not match the setlist with setlist.com. This date is the first Brown Eyed Women, I would want to hear it, even it if the sound is weak. Hard to rate.

i've never heard a recording this bad before. sounds like it was recorded with a cheap tape player with a built in mic.
